ARE WE TRULY GODLY?

The most astonishing, surprising and funny about Nigerians is how they go about calling God in vain to support their vanity, untruthfulness, deceitfulness and unholy acts. Probably the only country on the surface of the earth with 99% Religious faithfuls and 95% corrupt people is Nigeria. It is often jokingly said these days that, when a Nigerian of Northern origin who were assumed most trust worthy in the past, 'says wallahi Tallahi' (meaning i bear witness with God) it is now interpreted as "wallahi, i lie" (laughter)

This is where we have all descended to.

This is a nation where nothing works. We have become colony of cheats, liars and waste products that God in his infinite mercies created for a purpose. The only purpose remaining in the hearts of men and women from this part of the globe inhabited by the most populous black race in the world is corruption, nepotism, bigotry, sabotage and blackmail. We have reached the apex of plotting ourselves into destruction.

Now, let us take our outlook to government institutions, private sectors, religious bodies, student and academic unions, labour and trade unions, all of these are in the vises of cheats, fraud and ways of outsmarting and how to get things done through the back door because of greed. Practice of advance free fraud (419) became a way of life.

In all these, the most pathetic, most frightening and most tragic are the religious bodies. They are nearly 100% compliance with corruption because the leaders of these sects, denominations have forsaken salvation for prosperity. They consume the flesh and blood of their worshipers for their ostentatious life styles.

In the same vein, the followers have been turned to Zombies through long time mesmerization of their brains. Hypnotized to become dogmatic. They have taken men as their gods and nothing can convince them otherwise even if they are being fed with shits

If you want to see Nigerians in true colours, google crime as your searching headline, you will be shocked with the figures you are getting from different parts of the Globe. Just glance at their names, they are members of one Christian or Muslim family. What will strike your mind is, where is the family moral values obtained from the houses of God or as imbibed on them by their parents?

The most touching aspect of it all is that on Fridays and Sundays even on Sabbath day for those who belong to that denomination, You will see Nigerians of all class, men and women trooping into the Churches, Mosques, Synagogues to worship probably to wash away the sins of the week committed at work places.

Ask me who are the members of these congregations? I will tell you, we are the ones. The same men and women from Nigerian custom agency, who collect bribes and short change the government of it's revenue. The same we, are in the Nigerian police collecting tall on the highways and in the offices compromising criminals. The same Nigerian civil servants from revenue office diverting government taxes to their personal accounts and under reporting the sums collected.

These of course are the lower thieves. We still have the directors of these agencies, that were and are still untouchable thieve and the contractors, bankers. these are elites that have gang raped us but they go to Churches and mosques to pay tithes and offerings to get blessings from the clergymen. Many are into money laundering with Sheikhs, pastors and they buying jets to get to heaven faster.

In this corrupt institution, our elected officials are worse. Nigeria operate secular system, government is in the hands of Muslims and Christian. If my memory can bear me witness, we have never had a president that is a traditionalist, at least not in official outfit. Meaning all have been either a Christian or a Muslim. What have transpired in corruption with our leaders, is not a story you will be eager to know from me because you already know it. Paradoxically, we also have Mosques and Churches in ASO rock villa (laughable)

Our governors operates like armed robbers we empowered to rob and kill and give account after 4years (Rubbish). They deliver corruption in absolute terms. They own the traditional rulers. Who can't challenge them. Who in the States can challenge a governor? Nobody! When they go to worship on Fridays, they are prayed for and praised to be able to steal more. On Sundays in the churches, they are given special seats. The man of God become happy and sermon will not mention that stealing is bad. The elected thief will drop something or will donations to God's house

The fact that somebody wants to make a difference in redirecting our psych is our biggest problem today in Nigeria. It causes pandemonium and outrage When the government first of all introduced anti corruption agencies like EFCC, ICPC, code of conduct Bureau, it was like misery but they achieved little because the adhesive and cohesive forces were counter balancing while the anti graft agencies and those who drive them are also not angels. but they call God (Allah) as our saviours even though consciences celebrate corruption

The recent clean up we are facing today that has called for up rising of bigots, religious fanatics and political saboteurs is the introduction of TSA, BVN, WHISTLE BLOWING, IPPIS and lastly CAMA. The government aimed at reducing corruption at all levels irrespective of the institutions but some unscrupulous individuals want the status quo ante to prevail. They are putting their utmost pressure to sustain corruption in their institutions. It happening with ASUU, now the pastors are ganging up while the gullible and most vulnerable masses are intimidating, defending supporting to uphold corruption as the so called men of God in American suits pretend to profess spirituality.

Must we give up? No!

If truly there is God in few of us,

we must fight back.
