AVOIDING THIS POLITICAL MENACE AND NATIONAL EMBARRASSMENT.
POLITICIANS AND THEIR ASSOCIATES ARE NOT READY TO OBEY CHAPTER 6 PART 1 OF THE CONSTITUTION OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA 1999 AS AMENDED.
The above stated chapter of the constitution stated that
there should be elected into office, a President and a Vice who should act on
behalf of president in case of his absence and to take over that office in case
of death or incapacitation.
Nigerians has not only be in a cross road whenever the case
arise.
It is a high time now the nation start to look for solution.
There is no provision in the Constitution on rotational
presidency between the North and South. I learnt that Political Parties has it
in their constitution. If that is the case, it will be good that such Parties should
also look into the question of zoning both president and its vice to the same
zone. What is the justice to our Constitution and to God that a president is
from a zone and the vice is from another and the presidential zone will refuse
to hand over power to the vice zone in any case of incapacitation or death of
the president? It is better if a zone is ruling the other zone has to wait and
endure for the time period fixed. If the president is not around, power sit
immediately on the vice from the same zone without dirty intrigues.
Political Parties should wake up now to effect this change in
their constitution before another election, till Nigerian Government wakes up
to give Nigerians a new constitution purely made by themselves. Not forgetting
the issue of restructuring that is being trumpeted by all section of the
nation. All these dirty political coup against the Constitution is evil and God
is against it too and if not stopped God’s wrath will descend more than what we
are experiencing.
